Sing and Sequence Copy target letter words from a song on index cards, one letter per card. For example, for the letter R you can write the letters in the words Roy, Rover, runs, and races. Mix up the cards and give them to students (one card per child). As you sing the song (or play the audio version), have children arrange themselves in sequence to spell the words. Continue singing until children have formed all the words!
