This story of a Wampanoag Indian boy in the 1620s features full-color photographs;taken at the Plimoth Plantation historical site in Massachusetts. Tapenum is disappointed that he has not yet been chosen to become a warrior. He hunts for food; goes fishing; makes arrows, and a wise man teaches him patience. He finally gets his wish in 1627 and shares the day with friends and family.
