It's 2048, and the effects of global warming are causing chaos on Earth. Rising temperatures have made raging tornadoes and killer storms a part of everyday life, particularly in Oklahoma, where Jaden Meggs is visiting her estranged father. Dr. Meggs now heads StormSafe, a corporation that engineers storms, as well as DNA-ture, the firm that factory-grows vegetables with their undesirable qualities bioengineered out.

He has invited Jaden to study at Eye on Tomorrow Science Camp, a state-of-the-art facility that StormSafe started to create leaders in math and science, and to stay with him and his new family in Pleasant Meadows, a self-sufficient StormSafe community impenetrable to the raging storms that have turned Oklahoma into a vast wasteland.

At Eye on Tomorrow, Jaden and her new friends - Risha, who lives in Pleasant Meadows, and Alex, whose family lives on one of the last organic farms outside of Pleasant Meadows - are studying tornado behavior. The trio embarks on a project to stop the storms and save the homes of Alex and other farm families like his. But when Jaden discovers an unspeakable secret about her father, suddenly everything inside StormSafe is not what it seems. Could Jaden's father actually be using his top-secret technology to turn existing storms into monsters, and redirecting them toward the local farms?

Future meteorologists and fans of nonstop action will be on the edge of their seats until the final, gripping page is turned.
