Scholastic R.E.A.L. is a literacy-based mentoring program that gives school, districts, public libraries, and community-based organizations the tools they need to recruit and equip mentors-caring individuals from the community-to be reading champions. Utilizing high-quality, diverse books and companion guides (for mentors, students, and families), mentors will support children's academic success through read-alouds and book discussions. Mentors read from engaging, grade-appropriate books-fiction and nonfiction-that celebrate diversity and emphasize real-world connections.
Need extra student materials? Order additional copies of books with the companion guides. Each set includes the four unique titles with 5 copies for students (20 books total) with the companion Student and Family Guides.
