Your Fair has arrived! Time to kick off a memory-making week that turns kids into lifelong readers. And we’ve got your back, helping you maximize sales and earn big benefits for your school. So grab your Set-up Kit–it’s included with your Fair delivery–and dive in!

 

 

 

Set up the Fair

When the truck delivers your Fair, it’s GO time. Watch this video tutorial to get started.

Organize your cases so they’re easy to navigate and fun to shop.

Create tabletop displays that give students more chances to find a new favorite read.

o

Highlight the Creator Tools for supplies that turn kids’ inspiration into action.

o

Place your cashier table close to the exit to keep the lines moving.

Send reminders

Book Fair week is busy! Remind everyone to make the most of all the Fair has to offer.

Remind families and teachers to create an eWallet from your school’s Fair homepage.

o

Make sure everyone knows about any special events you’ve scheduled.

o

Keep promoting the Fair through social media, school newsletters, and other communications.

eWallets at the Fair

As families continue to create new eWallets and add funds, you can keep track of your eWallet roster on Fair Details and Settings.

o

Print your Scan Sheet to keep at the register–if you lose Internet connectivity, eWallet barcodes will still scan, keeping balances updated.

o

Ask teachers to allow students with unspent funds to shop the Fair one last time.

o

Let families know that unused eWallet funds become a Scholastic eGift balance and can be used to fund  future eWallets or to shop Scholastic online.
