Tritown Against Racism is looking to build our local schools library with Diverse Books. WHY? It is vital we offer a DIVERSE selection of books and educational material in our school libraries. We would like to foster an inclusive community that represents and reflects a diverse array of voices, cultures and perspectives. We want to educate people on the historical, societal, structural and institutional implications of racism. We want to help our schools provide a safe learning environment for all students of color, while educating ALL students about racism and diversity.
