Hello! My name is Mr. Manuel, and I'm a first-grade teacher at The General John Nixon School. As I begin my 28th year in the classroom, I've seen firsthand the incredible power of a single book to spark joy and curiosity in a child's heart. This year, my goal is not only to build a vibrant classroom library but also to truly bring the joy of reading into my students' homes. The funds I'm raising will help me restock our library with books that reflect the diverse interests of every student, and also allow me to give books as special gifts to our "Star of the Week" during the holidays and at the end of the school year.
