Each Take-Home book pack includes: • Ten engaging fiction & nonfiction books • Think Sheets for every title to reinforce reading, including: • Learning on My Own reading comprehension and writing activities • Family Time with reading tips and opportunities to make personal connections to daily life • A standards-aligned Summer Reading Journal with writing prompts that encourage reflection and text citations
A downloadable Program Guide provides schools and districts tips and strategies to implement a summer reading take-home program, including ideas for family engagement, informal assessment tools, and more.
