Brothers and sisters may occasionally argue like there's no tomorrow, but deep down inside, we all know they're best pals. Or we'd like to think so, at least.

Did you know that there's a holiday for brothers and sisters? A day where siblings are expected to celebrate the fact that they're siblings and are friends for life?

Well there is. It's Brothers and Sisters Day, and it's May 2nd.

Here are a few books for your children to read to prepare for this special day. Or better yet, read them together while celebrating this exciting, little-known holiday!

I love the variety here; some books are about brothers and sisters working together, some are about getting to know each other. Some are funny and some are really serious. There's something for everyone, and the most important thing is that by reading these books, brothers and sisters learn to appreciate and love each other!
