Sarah enjoys reading, writing, drawing, and gymnastics. She lives in Edmonton, Alberta, and would like to have a pet snake. Sarah’s illustration was created using pencil and pencil crayons. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Chouxville, because she enjoys visiting the capitals of countries (or, in this case, kingdoms). 

Lucy loves drawing, reading, and baking. She has a pet dog named Lambert, and lives in Hamden, Connecticut. Lucy’s illustration was created using colored pencils. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Chouxville because she loves making and eating anything with sugar.

Katie enjoys reading, drawing, math, science, chess, and playing the violin. She lives in Andover, Massachusetts, and has a pet Chihuahua mix who was rescued from Puerto Rico. Katie’s illustration was created using colored pencils. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Chouxville or Kurdsburg since she loves pastries and cheese.

Annika loves reading, sewing, playing the piano, swimming, and being a big sister. She lives in Washington, D.C. Annika’s illustration was created using colored pencils and markers. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Chouxville for its delicious treats, and so that she could see the palace from her window at sunrise and sunset.

Olivia enjoys crafting, drawing, playing the piano, and reading. She also loves learning about world history and studying nature. She lives in Mountain House, California, and has a dog named Chewy. Olivia’s illustration was created using pencil, markers, and metallic pen. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Chouxville, where they probably have amazing chocolate croissants.

Clara draws every day with her sister, Lillian. She also enjoys sewing, knitting, and reading, and has three intelligent dogs named Poppy, Rose, and Iris. She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia. Clara’s illustration was created using fineliner pens and brush tip markers. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Chouxville for its enticing pastries, which remind her of her mother’s fruit tarts.

Isla loves making sculptures using recycled materials and art inspired by her favorite books. She lives in Altamont, New York. Isla’s illustration was created using pencil, ink, and colored pencils. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Chouxville, for its amazing pastries.

Lucia enjoys playing the violin, reading, cats, and apple pie. She has four cats and two fish, and lives in Wailuku, Hawaii. Lucia’s illustration was created using pens. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Chouxville, so that she could wake up every morning and look up at the magnificent castle.

Maya enjoys reading and loves giraffes, dogs, and chickens. She lives in Stittsville, Ontario. Maya’s illustration was created using pencil and markers. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Kurdsburg (because cheese is the best).

Esmé loves drawing animals and mythical creatures. She also enjoys ballet, singing, horseback riding, and practicing archery in her forested backyard. She lives in Edmonds, Washington. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Chouxville, where the houses are neat and tidy, the people are happy, and the pastries are delicious.

Gia loves reading, art, golf, and traveling. She dreams of visiting Japan to see the cherry blossoms and visit the Studio Ghibli Museum. She lives in Palo Alto, California. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Baronstown, where the savory aromas mixing with those from Kurdsburg would always keep her hungry.

Petra enjoys ice skating, climbing cliffs, snorkeling, rollercoasters, reading, singing, playing the piano, and tennis. She lives in Great Falls, Virginia, and has a fluffy white cat named Mima. Petra’s illustration was created using pencils, crayons, and permanent markers. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Chouxville, so that she could try a Hopes-of-Heaven pastry.

Breanna has a passion for drawing, painting, and coloring, as well as dance, musical theater, and singing. She also plays softball, and loves going to school and reading. She has four dogs – Loki, Dutchess, Missy, and Rocky – and lives in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. Breanna’s illustration was created using pencil and pencil crayons. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be the City-Within-The-City, so that she could hang out with Daisy.

Kinza loves giraffes and would like to be a giraffe conservationist when she grows up. She enjoys school (especially History) and loves all books, no matter the subject. She lives in Hillsboro, Oregon. Kinza’s illustration was created using colored pencils and pen. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Chouxville (at the end of the story when it’s happy) because of its pastries.

Brooke enjoys playing Minecraft, hiking, camping, traveling, cooking, writing and illustrating her own comic books, and – of course – reading. She lives in Southern California and has a puppy named Penny. Brooke’s artwork was created using pencil, colored pencils, pens, and markers. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Ickaby, because it is peaceful, the food is delicious, and it’s full of mushrooms and plants.

Bari enjoys reading, creating art, playing the saxophone, and participating in track and field and soccer. She has a leopard gecko named Oz and a St. Bernard named Murphy, and lives in St. Albert, Alberta. Bari’s illustration was created using pencil, pen, and markers. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Chouxville, as there is a bakery where she could eat delicious pastries.

Manvik would like to be a scientist or an inventor one day, and he enjoys music, art, writing, and reading. His favorite place to travel is India, where his grandparents live, and where he can drink coconut water and visit temples. He lives in Walnut Creek, California. Manvik’s illustration was created using acrylic paints, colored pencils, and permanent marker. If he could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Chouxville (at the end of the story), home to the finest desserts and Prime Minister Goodfellow.

Eden loves knitting hats, and has donated over 20 hats for newborn babies to her local hospital. She also loves boating and tubing with her family in the Kawartha Lakes. She lives in Chatham, Ontario. Eden’s illustration was created using pencil crayons and marker. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be the Marshlands, because it’s the farthest place from Spittleworth and Flapoon.

Cormac likes Lego, drawing, reading, and playing hockey and soccer. He lives in Ottawa, Ontario, and has a dog named Fergus Woofdernoodles. Cormac’s illustration was created using graphite pencils, pencil crayons, and permanent marker. If he could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Ickaby, since that’s where the Ickabogs would be.

Abiyana draws every day, usually with her little sister Lila watching. She also enjoys singing, photography, acting, and skiing. She has lived in eleven different places in her eleven years and New Orleans has been her favorite so far. She now lives in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and has two dogs, Rosie and Moon. Abiyana’s illustration was created using alcohol markers, black pen, and black colored pencil shavings. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Chouxville or Kurdsburg for the delicious pastries and cheeses.

Natalie loves drawing, especially with watercolor, India ink, charcoal, and digitally. She enjoys reading graphic novels, playing video games, and coming up with stories. She lives in Ottawa, Ontario. Natalie’s illustration was created using India ink and watercolor. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, she would choose to visit and explore all the cities rather than choosing just one, since they are each special in their own way.

Anabelle enjoys figure skating, hockey, math, and reading. She lives in Orlando, Florida, and has a pet bunny named Cookie. Anabelle’s illustration was created using markers. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Chouxville because it seems the nicest.

Advika loves reading, swimming, arts and crafts, and science experiments – even when they explode! She lives in Austin, Texas. Advika’s illustration was created using oil pastels. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Chouxville, both for its wonderful pastries and to be close to the palace so that she can stay informed about current events.

Ila loves animals of all kinds and wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. She also enjoys reading, drawing, and volunteering. Ila has been a Girl Scout since she was five years old and is also a member of her school’s computer science club. She lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ila’s illustration, created using watercolor pencils, depicts two children reuniting after being apart for a long time, something that Ila can relate to during the pandemic. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Kurdsburg, because she loves putting together cheese plates for her family.

Abbey is happiest curled up with a good novel, and hopes to write and publish her own book one day. She also enjoys acting, swimming, baking, dancing, and playing volleyball. She lives in Washington. Abbey’s illustration was created using pencil, permanent marker, and crayons. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Chouxville, because she enjoys both creating and devouring baked goods.

Fleur loves playing board games and card games, and making up new games with her friends. She likes reading, as well as listening to podcasts and audio books. She has two cats named Mads and Luna, and lives in Shoreline, Washington. Fleur’s illustration was created using colored pencils. Aderes plays softball and soccer and enjoys other outdoor activities, as well as drawing, cooking, and baking. She plays the violin and the trumpet, and lives in Laguna Hills, California. Emily enjoys drawing and sketching, reading, and horseback riding. She has two amazing pets, Tahlia the bunny and Charlie the dog, and lives in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Madeline is an avid reader who loves drawing, volleyball, and playing the violin. She is a twin, but will admit that her favorite sibling is Merlin, a Tuxedo cat adopted from the Humane Society. She lives in Round Rock, Texas. Madeline’s illustration was created using gel pens, markers, and colored pencils. Lucy loves reading Calvin and Hobbes cartoons, learning the cello, drawing and painting, swimming, and exploring nature. She has a cat named Jedi, and lives in Port Washington, New York. Lucy’s illustration was created using pencil and crayons. If she could live anywhere in Cornucopia, it would be Kurdsburg, where the pizza must be amazing.

Taarika enjoys reading, writing stories, art, climbing trees, and nature. When she grows up, she wants to be a veterinarian that cares for wild animals. She lives in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, California.
