Hi there! This is my first year using Junior Scholastic and my 6th graders are LOVING IT! I have used them in 3 different classes: Nonfiction reading course, ELA, and Social Studies! So far the stories have been high interest for my students; really getting their thinking going. The lesson plans provided have been really helpful in teaching different topics. Thank you for putting such a great resource together!

This is my second order of Scholastic Magazines for use in my classroom. I pay for the copies because I think Scholastic does a great job of giving current news. My students and I have some great conversations because of some of their stories. After 30 years of teaching, I can think of no other way children can learn more than when they are stirred by what they read. Thank you.
