I cant say enough about how great this magazine has been for my students! I work with gifted children in third through sixth grade. Keeping their reading content age and ability appropriate is always a challenge. Luckily, SCOPE knows how to do it! My students are engaged and invested in SCOPE stories. They love the hard topics that really make them question and think, the rich language and text structure, the Real Life issues, the writing contests, and the videos that couple so well with the articles. I love the Common Core alignment, the challenge that the activities provide, the user friendly website, and that I get a whole new set of articles and ideas each month! Its been a wonderful addition to my ELA program! Thank you SCOPE!

I love the magazine. Weve had it in class for the last couple of days and the kids are hooked. Its fantastic. Rich, authentic text with skill based recommendations. Id use it in any capacity, but the suggested activities to couple with the text are amazing.

We use the scope magazines in class and i find them very useful and i think other kids do too. there are definitely challenging aspects but i love the challenge, but the article are really fun and more kids are interested. Our teacher assigns us a role and we put on the mini plays that are inside the magazine and it allows us to have fun while we learn new word and different ways to write.
