PLEASE consider sponsoring one of my students for next school year! My students LOVE receiving a new book each month this school year. Some even squeal for joy when I tell them they are getting their monthly book! Please take a moment to read and consider the following... Each month, I receive the Scholastic Book Club magazines and order forms to send home for students to share with their families and purchase books if they are able. Some very hard working families cannot afford to purchase books to have at home, especially at various times of the year when holidays and new school supplies take much of their incomes. But, reading is SO important. How amazing would it be for each student to receive ONE BOOK every month at no cost to their parents? Scholastic has books every month that are $1. I would LOVE for each of my students to be able to bring home a new book each month during the school year from September to May. Seem crazy and unrealistic?? Keep reading! If I select the $1 book, that’s only $9 per child (for a FULL school year). Would anyone be interested in “sponsoring” a child in my class?
