I would love to transform a corner of my classroom into a calm, fleixble seating reading area for my 8th grade students. We think as adults that by the time a student enters 8th grade that they don't need downtime or reading areas but they need it now more than ever. I would love to just have a space where they can unplug from technology and immerse themselves in reading and escaping reality even if for just a few minutes.
