This was SUCH a huge success in my classroom the last three years, and I’d love to keep the tradition going! Last year I was able to send home 2-4 books with each student EVERY MONTH! They also received a Birthday Book and used some of the Bonus Points we earned to provide students with opportunities to win additional books throughout the school year. There wasn't a single week that I didn't send some books out the door with my kiddos! How awesome!? 📚 🍎 📚 🍎 📚 🍎 📚🍎📚🍎📚🍎📚🍎 Each month I will receive the Scholastic Book Club fliers to send home for students to share with their families to purchase books if they would like. Unfortunately, times are changing and many of our families cannot afford to purchase books to have at home. How cool would it be if ALL of my students could receive at least one free book a month? Please read on if you would like to help put books in their hands! If I select the $1 books, that's ONLY $9 per child for the whole year. Would anyone be interested in "sponsoring" a child in my class? All you have to do is submit a donation to this campaign, and the money will go directly towards getting books in the hands of my 3rd grade students. Any additional money raised will be used to enhance our classroom library as well as distribute multiple books to students each month. I am moving from Kindergarten to 3rd grade this year and would love to provide a larger selection to my students in and out of our classroom.
