Hello! My name is Erica and teach 1st and 2nd grades. Because crucial reading skills and strategies are taught in these grades my students need a variety of books to read during independent reading time, partner reads, and books to take home to read. Students in these grades love to read beginning chapter books and books that are part of series. My students span two grade levels and have a variety of interests. I need to grow my class library to meet those interests and have books to send home with students. I would like to purchase books that are part of beginning chapter book series for students to take home and read with their families. In order to develop life-long readers I am asking for $300 to purchase an array of beginning chapter books for my students. Thank you for supporting our class!
