Hello! I want to inspire a love of reading in my new kindergarten students! I will be sharing Scholastic flyers throughout the school year, and the kiddos love flipping through the pages and looking through all of the books they could have. However, not all of my students can afford to purchase books. One of the best things about Scholastic is that they offer high quality children's literature at a great price. Every month they offer at least one title for only $2! Here's the idea: I would love for each of my students to bring home one new book every month from August until May. If I select the $2 book each month, that's only $18 per child! Would anyone be interested in sponsoring a child in my kindergarten classroom this school year? I always get so much support with this each year and my students and I are so thankful! Last year I had 24 students.
