Lisa Thompson Evans has dedicated her life's work as a teacher and administrator to ensuring children love to read. For the past three years Lisa has been battling an aggressive cancer. Recently Lisa and her husband Allen have decided to lay down their arms. In the weeks since she has returned home she has been surrounded by loving family and friends. Many have reached out asking how they can provide joy and comfort to our dear friend. Lisa has asked her friends and family to help grow the library of Advantage Arts Academy in Herriman, Utah. Being the principal has fulfilled a lifetime goal of Lisa’s and the money we raise in this campaign will go directly to the purchase of books for the Advantage Arts Academy’s library. Each book purchased with these funds will have a book plate indicating it was purchased as part of the Lisa Thompson Evans: A Reader Lives a Thousand Lives campaign. Books will be chosen for the library by the school's librarian and staff and will be books that reflect the interests of the children at the school. *This campaign has graciously been set up by Christine Mecham per the request of Lisa and her family*
