Each month I receive the Scholastic Book Club flyers to send home for students to share with their families and purchase books if they would like. Sadly, times are changing and many families cannot afford to purchase books to have at home or can't afford more than 1-2 times a year. How cool would it be if ALL of my kiddos could receive one free book every month?! I have done this before and my kiddos loved getting their new book each month! Here is how it works: Scholastic has books every month that are $1.00 each. I would LOVE for each of my students to be able to bring home one new book each month during the school year from September to May. If I select $1 books, that is only $9 per child. Would anyone be interested in "sponsoring" a child in my class? If you're interested in helping out with this project, let me know! I have 25 wonderful kiddos this year.
