Hi there, I’m Jody Harris, I teach at the Early Learning Center. I'm launched this campaign to get more books in all of our students’ hands by expanding our Centers library and to send a book home with every student this winter break. One of the biggest joys of teaching is seeing a student fall in love with a book. But it’s not always easy to get the right book in the hands of the right reader. Some of our students are interested in books about animals, while others love picture books, princess and super heroes . Not only are our students interested in different things, but they also read at different levels. If a child picks up a book they are a reader, reading isn't just about the words its the whole concept behind the book, its my passion to inspire them. The most effective way to do this is to fill our library within our classrooms and Center with a diverse collection of books across a variety of levels. Your support will help me raise $500 to fill our the library with new books. Growing lifelong readers is the goal. And your contribution will help do just that!
