For the past few years I have done a monthly book club in my classroom. This book club is based on getting friends and family to donate funds so that each month every student can get at least one brand new book! I use the monthly $1 or $2 selections and match the students with a great new book. By funding this campaign you are turning students into life long readers. These book selection are always just because because. No assignments or grades are attached to the work they decide to do on these books.
