Hi there, I'm Ashleigh and I teach 3rd graders. Reading and the ability to comprehend is a key skill in being successful not only in school but also in life. The COVID crisis has brought home the need to get books into students' hands more than ever. Growing their home libraries is so important to keep these kids reading! Will you help me in this cause? I have set a pretty lofty target of raising $700. This will give me enough funds to order each of my kids a book for each month of the school year. These will not just be the dollar books that may or may not interest them or be at the right reading level, but a book that fits them, their own personal likes as well as their reading level.
