Hello, My name is Corie Kolodge, I am a 2nd-grade teacher at Falcon Academy and I have been an educator for 15 years. Most of my years of teaching have been with upper-grade students. However, last school year, I made a big grade change and moved to 2nd grade which I am loving. One of the biggest joys of teaching regardless of age is seeing a child fall in love with a book. However, finding the "just right" book for my class isn't always easy. Currently, I am in the building stages of my classroom library. I have older books but not a lot of variety of books for students to choose from. As we know to find the "just right" book, students need a diverse collection of books with a variety of reading levels.
