The Grandview Education Foundation provides over 14,000 books to early childhood and elementary students in the GC4 school district every May to build a home library for summer reading practice and pleasure. Research shows that continued reading during the summer months helps lessen the "summer slump" and makes students go back to school the next school year with more confidence.
