Hi, I’m Mr.Thoms-Bauer, a 4th-grade teacher in Jersey City. Every day, I walk into my classroom with one goal: to spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire every student who walks through the door. But here’s the challenge — we don’t always have the tools we need to make that happen. Like many teachers I buy materials out of my pockets. In the past I have been fortunate to receive gently used books to add to my classroom's collection. They are dated or no longer meets the excitement of the students of today. This year, I’m raising funds through ClassroomsCount to ensure my students have the resources they deserve.
