My name is Stephanie Mayer and I teach 5th grade. I would love to raise money, so that I can be able to order each student a $2 book from September to April for the 2020-2021 school year. I believe that books take kids on adventures that create wonder, inquiry, and excitement. My goal would be to order each student a book and also read it together as a class. I love exposing students to a variety of genres within the school year. I think this benefits reluctant readers because sometimes it is hard to find a book that catches their interest. Every year it is my goal that students learn to appreciate and/or love reading.
