Hi there, I'm Tory and I teach Kindergarten. Reading is magic! I have always loved to read, and one of my main goals as a teacher is to instill that same love of reading into my students. One way I can achieve that goal is to provide engaging, beautiful books. Stories that inspire, make students giggle, make students think. Stories that students can see themselves in, where everyone is represented. Stories that students ask to read again and again! I want my classroom library to be filled with diverse books at a variety of levels so that students can find their favorite stories, and become lifelong readers. As a newer teacher, I need help filling my library with wonderful stories t meet my goal of growing lifelong readers. That's why I am raising $300 to help fund a diverse, varied classroom library.
