I am a first year teacher at a very small town rural school. I have 20 students in my first grade room and we are learning how to read!! My kids are so incredibly bright even though they come from low income, broken homes. They love to read and we go to the library everyday to exchange books so they can get new ones! They love story time and getting to explore the world of books! I would love to be able to send every kid home over our winter break with a book that is just for them. Giving these kiddos a book for Christmas will light up their worlds and they will be so excited! I would love to have a sponsor for our classroom to help me cover the costs of these books. Being a first year teacher is hard financially and asking for help is always hard. But I hope someone could find it in their heart to help put our little class even just a little. Everything helps!
