Hello! My name is Shelley Hardenbrook. I teach 2nd grade at Indian Hills Elementary School in Pocatello, Idaho. I am raising funds to pay for Scholastic News and Science Spin magazines for each student in my classroom and would love your support. These nonfiction magazines cover several topics and grade level standards for reading, social studies, science, and math. The articles are relevant and interesting to second graders and encourage them to read. There are 4 issues per month plus 1 dedicated to science. Children have many opportunities to learn, use, and create graphs, timelines, diagrams, etc. in multiple ways along with the new information they read. Interactive online resources are provided to enhance each lesson. My class will look forward to learning something new in an exciting way each week! Thank you very much for your support!
