My school has a high percentage of its students classified as living in poverty. I would like to get books for my students that they could choose from every month to take home to build their own library. I have done this in the past by stockpiling and using the "free book" money from book orders to purchase a wide selection of books. This year was my first year teaching first grade, and I’ve been truly impressed with the growth of my students’ reading ability. I’d like to be able to offer a wider variety of books, including books that will challenge more advanced readers. Thank you, in advance, for considering a contribution to my campaign!
