Hi there, I’m Ms. Aarika and I teach Kindergarten at Arizona Autism Charter School. I will be entering my 8th year of teaching, although this will be my 2nd year teaching little learners. I launched this campaign to get more books in my students’ hands that meet their diverse needs and interests! One of the greatest rewards, is witnessing the excitement for reading! With these books, our class will explore new topics and old one, while identify their interests and activating prior knowledge. Early literacy is so vital for student success in their academic journey and as they become independent citizens of society. In Kindergarten, the little learners have just begun. It is my duty and responsibility to cultivate their love and confidence for reading at this primal stage.
