Hello! My name is Aundrea, and I teach first grade at Troy Elementary School. I believe reading opens every door for children, and that is why it's important to foster that love of reading early on. One way to help ensure the love of reading grows within a child is to help them find a book about something they love or can even relate to. So while many projects are currently underway in my classroom, I would really appreciate your help with updating my classroom library. I have a handful of books that need replacing as they are heavily utilized by my students each year. There are also additional books, that throughout the years, I have discovered are loved by several students as well as books that can also help students learn about character education and how to celebrate our differences. I have already purchased several books myself but need your help to raise $255 that will add 48 new books to my classroom library to help them grow their reading skills and imagination.
