Become a Book Fairy for My 5th Grade Readers! 📚✨ Hello! My name is Amber Tucker, and I’m proud to teach 5th grade reading at The Point College Prep and Leadership Academy. I work with four blocks of scholars, totaling 78 students, and I’m on a mission to give each of them at least two books each month—one fiction and one nonfiction—to take home and enjoy with their families. While children learn how to read at school, the true joy of reading often comes alive at home. By putting books in their hands, I hope to inspire a lifelong love of reading and create special moments for families to share. To make this dream a reality, I’m raising $1,000 to send books home with my scholars. Any additional funds will go toward building our classroom library, ensuring it continues to benefit students for years to come.
