Books are a window to the world... through reading you can imagine what it is like to be someone else, in another time or place. Readers develop empathy and perspective that they can apply to their own life. Reading can help us understand ourselves and others in our Global Village. Make this summer a rediscovery of wonder through the magic of books. Any money raised will be used to build our class library so students won’t have to share books in the fall.
