Books for Every Child Two years ago I started the Book of the Month with my students. Thanks to your support my class and another we’re able to give our students 1 book a month all of last 2 school years. The joy and excitement it brought all these kids made me want to continue to give this to my students again this year. Each month I send home Scholastic Book Flyers and the kids get so excited about the books. Unfortunately, many of my student’s families can’t always afford to purchase these books. Scholastic offers great prices for books with some being just $2. I would love to get my students a book a month but that cost adds up quickly for a teacher. I am asking if anyone would be willing to sponsor a child for the school year by donating only $20. This will get one child in our class a book each month of the school year.
