Hello, I'm Mrs. Zrust, and I'm proud to teach middle school ELA at Ladd CCSD #94. I've launched this campaign to enrich our classroom library with a wider array of diverse and modern books, aiming to foster a deeper love for reading among my students. Witnessing a student connect with a book on a profound level is one of the most rewarding experiences in teaching. However, catering to the diverse interests and reading levels of each student can be challenging. Some are drawn to tales of adventure, while others prefer mysteries or historical narratives. Moreover, the spectrum of reading abilities within my classroom varies greatly. To provide the best educational experience for my students, it's crucial to offer a selection of books that resonate with their individual interests and reading levels. By expanding our classroom library with a diverse assortment of books, we can engage students more effectively and cultivate their passion for reading.
