Hello! My name is Elizabeth and I am a first grade teacher at a Title 1 school. More than half of my class is an English language learner. These students need extra support to engage with the language and support language aquisition. By providing two books a month to my students, it would help create a love of reading to help with their literacy skills. Since our school does not have a library, I hope to use some of the funds to create a small first grade library where all first graders can come and check out books. It is important to support their phonetic skills through instilling literacy. I hope with these books to create a life-long love of reading. Many Thanks, Elizabeth
