Hi! My name is Elizabeth Waliser, and I teach first grade at Lincoln Elementary School in Lincoln, North Dakota. Every day, I have the privilege of learning and laughing alongside a group of incredible six- and seven-year-olds who are just beginning their journey as readers. This year, I’m hoping to raise $450 to bring even more joy and imagination into our classroom by gifting each student a brand-new book every month. These books won’t just be part of our classroom library — they’ll go home with my students to build their personal libraries and foster a lifelong love of reading. I’m calling this effort The Book Fairy Project, because when you donate, you’re sprinkling magic into our classroom.
