Hello! My name is Amanda and I teach 2nd Grade at Clifton Elementary School #12. If you ask any teacher they'll tell you that there is nothing better than getting a box of Scholastic books! Unfortunately, most teachers use their own money to buy those books. Prior to teaching 2nd Grade I taught Kindergarten for 5 years. During that time I was able to stock my library. When I moved from Kindergarten to 2nd Grade a lot of the books were not on level for my new grade so I had to start all over again. Over the last year I was able to buy some books, but not enough to have a really great in class library. That's where you come in! I would really appreciate your help in creating a classroom library that feeds the interest of each individual student. Help me reach my goal of $300!
