Hello! My name is Elana and I teach fabulous first graders at Oakland School in Bloomington, IL. I’m raising funds to give each of my 24 students one book each month to add to their "at-home" libraries! The best way to build a love of reading is to read and be read to! My students have plenty of books to read in our classroom library at school, but I know that many families struggle to have an "at-home" library for their children. Please help me raise $240 to send books home with students. Any extra funds will go toward additional books to send home with students around the holidays and special occasions like the end-of-the-school-year.
