Hello, I’m Krystal, the CEO and visionary behind iBIEC Hive, dedicated to supporting displaced families with children, single mothers, and low-income families with students in grades K-5. I initiated this initiative to ensure every young learner in our community has access to books through our iBIEC Hive student library. As a passionate mother first and foremost, and a mentor and teacher, I find immense joy in watching our young learners discover the magic of books. I understand the challenge when the right book isn't available for a student, which is why catering to diverse book interests is crucial. Some students are drawn to superheroes, while others prefer sports, history, or STEM. Each student reads at their own level, making a varied book collection essential. Our mission is clear: to cultivate a love for reading and learning among our students. By filling our Hive library with a wide array of books, we aim to foster lifelong readers who appreciate diversity and inclusion.
