Hi there, I’m Kelda, and I teach preschool at Gardenview Montessori School. I launched this campaign to put more high-quality books into my young learners’ hands by expanding our classroom library. One of the greatest joys in early childhood education is seeing a child light up when they connect with a story. But helping each child discover the right book at the right moment isn’t always simple. Some of my students love animals, while others are fascinated by trucks, friendship stories, or nature. Every child is unique, curious, and developing at their own pace. To nurture that excitement for learning, I need a diverse collection of books that reflects their interests and supports their growing language and literacy skills. A rich library helps little learners build vocabulary, imagination, confidence, and a lifelong love of reading.
