My name is Melanie and I love teaching children ages 3-5 years old who have developmental delays. I spent 15 years as a school psychologist and am returning to the classroom and need to grow our classroom library. I teach thematic units that integrate literacy, math, dramatic play, science, technology, engineering, art, and music to address all five areas of development cognitive, communication, motor, adaptive and social skills. I need quality books that will enhance my curriculum. I especially need books for science units including "All about... apples, pumpkins, plants, insects, butterflies, ponds, frogs, pets, zoo animals, nocturnal animals, ocean, shells, rocks, magnets, senses, my body, teeth, recycling, etc. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated and used for decades to help preschoolers with developmental delays accelerate their development as they prepare to enter Kindergarten.
