Hello! My name is Melissa, and I am the 3/4’s preschool teacher at Pumpkin Patch Childcare Center and Preschool. This year, I’m raising funds to help provide each of my 18 preschoolers with at least one book of their very own every month! My hope is that sending books home will help build a love of reading that extends beyond our classroom and encourages families to read together. Children are taught how to read at school, but the real joy of reading is found at home. Some of the sweetest memories can be made snuggled up together with a good book! By becoming a Book Fairy and contributing to our campaign, you’ll help put books directly into the hands and homes of my little learners. Any additional funds raised will be used to add new books to our classroom library, where they can be enjoyed by children for years to come. Your support will also allow me to choose fun, engaging books that reflect the interests of the children in my class and get them excited about reading. Will you be a Book Fairy for my preschoolers and help us grow a love of reading—one book at a time? Thank you so much for supporting my little learners!
