Reading is the foundation for learning, and it begins at birth! After teaching in a preschool classroom for 15+ years and raising my 5-year old with another baby on the way, I chose to further my career and take on the role of Associate Director of Early Learning. Parents/guardians are a child’s first teachers. I want to be able to give each student in my care books to be able to read at home with their families. I strongly believe that book turn everyday activities into meaningful, teachable moments and all children should have access to books in their home. Books create warm emotional bonds between adults and kids when they read books together.
