Hello and welcome to 2nd grade! I strongly believe that reading is the first most important tool each child must possess in order to be strong learners in all subject areas. Reading can open up many new and exciting doors for learners. It is my hope that you will help our class reach the goal I have set to welcome new books to our classroom. I would also like for the children to bring these books home. I will have a check-out system so that each child can take turns enjoying and learning about these books at home.
