Thank you to Mrs. Debbie Banks, Milroy Elementary Library Aide, for leading 'A Book A Month' for every student at Milroy Elementary School! "I thought our 40th reunion would be the perfect time to give back to Rush County students. Many elementary teachers have started programs to give each student a free book each month during the school year. It is important for them to have books of their own and to have books at home to help them grow a love for reading. As I start my 2nd year as the Media Specialist at Milroy Elementary, I would love to start this program. There are several vendors who provide $2-$3 books each month. A donation of $10-$20 will provide a book a month for one student this school year. " Thank you to the class of 1981 for your generation donations!
