Hi there, I’m Ms. Sam and I will be teaching 4th grade this year. Children are taught how to read at school, but the real joy of reading is found at home with their families. With the transition to remote learning, scholars have had limited access to physical books found in the classroom. Can you help my team and I give our students the opportunity to grow their home library? There are thirty-five (35) students in the class this year. The goal is to send each child home with one book each month, so that each child expands their home library. We hope is that these books will inspire students to read with their families. Each month, Scholastic offers $1 books, and with 10 months in the school year, you can sponsor one student for only $10. The target is to raise $350 to purchase books to send home with students.
