March 13th, 2020 is a day that educators across the nation will never forget. We said goodbye to our students, not aware that we would not see them for the rest of the school year. I made sure to send every student home with plenty of books from my classroom library to get them through the anticipated 2-4 weeks we would not be in the school building. As time went on, and the pandemic raged across the world, students did not return. Many of the students had major changes going on in their lives, and returning books was not a priority. I was happy to provide the books in such a traumatic and lonely time for my students. However, now my wish is to refresh my classroom library; this will give my students fresh selections of popular, diverse titles moving forward. Won't you help our Logan readers?
