Hello, My name is Ms. Hopper, and I serve as the media specialist at Elon Elementary. I created this campaign to expand our library’s collection with new, high-interest books that will inspire and motivate reluctant readers. One of the greatest joys of working in a library is witnessing students discover a book that truly engages them. However, finding the right book for each individual reader can be a challenge. Our students have diverse interests and a wide range of reading levels—some are drawn to biographies about their favorite athletes, while others prefer graphic novels or different genres entirely. My goal is to offer a collection that reflects this diversity and allows every student to see themselves in the books they read. By providing a balanced mix of fiction and nonfiction across a variety of genres, I can better support and engage readers of all backgrounds and abilities.
